This is what you start with:
1 Canvas (any size)
Scrapbook paper
Picture
Modge Podge
Paint
Paint brush
Sponge brush
Wax Paper
Cut the Scrapbook pieces the size of each side of the canvas. Cutting each piece a bit smaller than the sides. Modge Podge all the sides and then the top on the canvas.
Lay each scrapbook piece on the wax paper and modge podge the piece and add it to the sides of the canvas.
Reapply modge podge to the top of the canvas. Modge Podge the back of the picture. If you lay it on the wax paper it won't stick to the surface! Lay the picture on the canvas. Modge Podge the top of the picture once on the canvas. It will look blurry but it dries clear.
Then sponge paint the white edges around the picture. And this is your final picture!
Only one suggestion...don't pick plain, single color scrapbook paper for the edges. Use a design, etc. Might have added a little "something" to the canvas.
