Baseball Mom TShirts - I made my own shirt this year!  Connor was on the BlueJays last year and well, that shirt is hanging in the closet...I'll never wear again.  He is on the Cardinals this year...and I just couldn't bring myself to buy a Cardinals tshirt, esp since I don't have a new Astros shirt!!  My shirt was a big hit with all the other mom's, so every mom now has one!!  I've even made a Golf Mom shirt for my cousin Kris in Indiana, Soccer Mom shirt, and Birthday shirts for Carolyn!

Family Wall

After my success with the Live*Laugh*Love wall quote - I really wanted to design an entire family wall!!  The kiddo's frames are 12x12 but Walgreens would only print 8x8 pictures so I printed their first and middle names for the frame.  This is now my favorite place in the house!

I've been doing these vinyl crafts for awhile so I wanted to try one of the wall sayings.  This one is in my living room.  It was the first one I made that was longer than my 12" mat.  I think it turned out great!

Sister's Birthday

I used to be great at birthday presents and cards, I'd remember everyone's.  I'm still good at remembering but not so much the cards and gifts...mostly my weakness is mailing them!  My sister, Nicole, means the world to me.  I have 11 brothers and sisters -- 4 sisters!  I always wanted sisters growing up -- now I have sisters and I have the BEST sisters!!!  Here is her birthday present...now I need to mail it!!!

Metal Vinyl Verse

My friend and coworker, Edith's birthday is the end of January!  I can never keep a secret so I let her pick what saying/verse she wanted - and I started designing.  I finished it this weekend -- I love it!  I can't wait to give it to her!

This is also vinyl on the metal signs.  I used spray paint instead of acrylic paint.  It looks much better this way.  I just wish I could use spray paint better, a few of the signs have drips on them!  

Toilet Paper Roll Crafts

I have been saving toilet paper rolls - always find neat ideas on what we can create with them.  I keep promising Connor we'll do something - so over Christmas break - I got to keep my promise.

We couldn't decide to make the Santa & Reindeer or the Snowmen - so we made them all!  We sure had a LOT of fun!!

Grandkids Framed Sign

Now that I had a new "toy" -- I decided I wanted to make my in-laws their Christmas present.  After many days spent on Pinterest I found just what I was looking for. 

I already had a 16x20 frame (not sure exactly why) at home.  I did purchase vinyl from www.myvinyldirect.com.  Great site with lots of color choices and a reasonable price! 

It took a while to layout and figure out the sizing - but it was well worth it on Christmas morning! 

  



Christmas Vinyl Sign

For Christmas this year I really wanted to take down our family picture above the mantel, mostly because it was missing a child!  (We need a new family picture!)

Of course, then I needed something in its place.  I looked and looked and decided I wanted to make a 'sign.'  I found the  perfect quote and was ready to go!!

Ms. Jodi's Going Away Gift

Ms. Jodi is (was) the Director at The Goddard School, where my boys attend.  She is an extraordinary-gifted lady!  She truely loves our boys and is both patient and tenacious!  We are going to miss her very much!  As a going away gift I wanted to make her something special!

Teacher Gifts

With both my boys in daycare there were "a LOT" of teachers to buy gifts for this Christmas.  Brody has 4 teachers and Connor has 3, plus the Director and Assistant Director...that made 9 gifts!  I needed to get creative - or we were going to go broke!

My original plan was to go to the Dollar Store and buy white ceramic coffee mugs and put the teachers inital on the mug, with a $10 Starbucks card inside.  I'm guessing everyone else had the same idea because there were no ceramic coffee mugs left except the ones with ugly designs on them!  I found plastic travel coffee mugs instead.  All the teachers loved their mug!
