Candy Cane Candles

I first saw the idea for this on pinterest and had no real intentions of making until I came across the candy cane ornaments in Hobby Lobby and then just couldn't pass up the adventure! 

The first set of instructions said to line up the candy canes around the candle and then tie the ribbon around the candy canes.  Yah right!  I tried to hot clue the candy canes to the candle, ha, that didn't work - heat melts wax!  So I used hot clue to clue the candy canes to the ribbon - make sure to do this all backwards - and then tied the ribbon!  Worked perfectly!
